Legend

The P2 receptor for extracellular nucleotides P2Y1 (red immunofluorescence) is present in the Bergmann glia of the cerebellar cortex of the rat at postnatal day 7 and on Bergmann fibers, which are closely intertwined with granule neurons. These neurons are visualized with a granule-cell-specific marker, DCX (green immunofluorescence) and areas of signal overlap appear yellow in this confocal image.
